Ms. Leong Ern Ee is an experienced violinist and dedicated music educator with over 10 years of teaching experience. She holds a Master of Arts in Music (Distinction) from the University of Birmingham, UK, and a Bachelor of Music (First Class Honours) from the University of Wolverhampton. She also holds ATCL and LTCL diplomas in Violin Performance (High Distinction), along with ABRSM Grade 8 qualifications in both Piano and Music Theory.
Ms. Leong is passionate about nurturing each student’s musical potential. She has successfully guided students of all ages and levels—from young beginners to diploma candidates and aspiring music professionals. Many of her students have achieved outstanding results in their music exams, often receiving Merits and Distinctions.
In addition to private teaching, Ms. Leong has served as a lecturer at the Malaysian Institute of Art and contributed to teacher training programmes for music schools in Singapore. Her lessons are engaging and thoughtfully designed to make learning music both fun and meaningful, helping students build confidence, creativity, and musicality.
As a performer, Ms. Leong has appeared in concerts across Singapore, Malaysia, the UK, Thailand, and Beijing. She was the concertmaster of the Birmingham Philharmonic Orchestra and has performed with celebrated cellist Guy Johnston. Her past performances also include appearances with the Baroque Chamber Orchestra and the Summer Festival Opera in the UK.
